Kristine is a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals. Her love story with yoga began in 2004, while living on the beautiful tropical beaches of Boracay, Philippines. Their workplace, which was a renowned luxury spa, required all the staff to practice yoga regularly and there they were taught Sivananda yoga every week at a beautiful shala overlooking the ocean. Kristine embraced the practice, explored a few other styles in the following years until she began teaching yoga in 2008. The first yoga class she taught was a side job while travelling the world on a cruise ship. Since arriving in Oxford in 2010, she has taught thousands of hours of yoga to students of all ages, sizes, nationalities and abilities. She currently teaches dynamic flow classes as well as slow restorative classes.

Kristine believes that yoga practice should be enjoyable, and although the practice can be challenging physically, mentally and emotionally, she believes that we should approach our practice lightheartedly - believe that every wobble or fall is just part of the learning process that we should fully embrace.

Kristine believes is also involved in animal rights and environmental activism. She leads the Green Impact team, a team of environmental sustainability volunteers at her workplace in the University of Oxford.
