Your Teacher

Kristine is a Level 2 Associate Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals. This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set by Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Kristine discovered yoga in 2004 while living in Boracay.  In 2009 she began teaching yoga while travelling the world on a cruise ship.

After moving to Oxford, she qualified as a Hatha Yoga Teacher in 2011, and shortly after she also a qualified as a Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga teacher by renowned yoga rockstar Sadie Nardini. Kristine considers herself as a work in progress, continuously learning and improving her craft through her teaching  and from her teachers.

Kristine currently teaches Vinyasa and Hot Power Yoga in Oxford and Bicester. She also conducts private lessons to individuals or small groups that are tailor fit to the students' needs.

Besides her passion for yoga, Kristine is an artistic soul who enjoys photography, sketching, zen art and singing. She enjoys listening and singing to Kirtan and devotional music. She is also a free spirit who loves travelling, going to the beach and surfing.

Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga founded by renowned teacher and wellness expert Sadie Nardini. It is a perspective on all yoga which emphasizes understanding and focus on the core of our yoga poses on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic.

It uses Core Principles, ways to clarify what the core is, exactly how to instruct it and activate the core within the yoga practice. Together, the Principles and Poses simplify how to access, comprehend and use the “core” most efficiently to gain the maximum yoga benefits including calorie burn, strength, flexibility, focus, self-awareness and confidence in the least amount of time.

Because of its multi-level actions, and focus on constant core connection, Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga is one of the most effective yoga practices for sparking major changes both inside and out.

Core Strength Vinyasa in Bicester & Oxford are fun, challenging, flowing classes colourfully infused with a blend of different yoga styles. The teacher Kristine takes you to your edge while at the same time allows you to work with your own abilities. Provides a relaxed, light-hearted approach and a non-competitive environment to yogis of all levels. Although we aim to get better everytime, we don't like to take ourselves too seriously in class, so giggles are highly encouraged! :)
